Thank you so much for the quick response! I definitely see the issue with how FFnet has categorized fandoms. It makes me so glad that we have Ao3 to make browsing fanfics so much easier. And I appreciate the clarification on check-ins! I was worried since I might not be able to write much for the first one coming up, but knowing that there isn't a word count to meet definitely makes it more approachable.
(Also I wrote in my first comment that I've done this before when I meant to say that I've never done it...d'oh. Hope that didn't cause too much confusion;;)
