Summary:

The second part of a novelisation of Virtua Hydlide, covering the beginning of the Vampire's Mansion to the end of the Volcanic Cave, culminating in the battle with the Dragon. This interpretation links the story with flashbacks to previous Hydlide games.

 

A swordsman called Jim wakes up to find himself alone in a mysterious world with little to no memory of his past. Following a path that some Fey being seems to be leading him upon, he uncovers secrets of the world, built deliberately by someone who abandoned it, while triggering his own memories, as well as visions of previous worlds that he can see through the eyes of a Godlike creator and an enigmatic fairy.
