Invitations to the Support Comm

As of this moment, everyone who has signed up as an author, artist, cheerleader or beta should have received an invitation to our support community, smallfandomcafe. If you have not received an invitation please let me know as soon as possible so that I may rectify that.

Not sure how to check your invites? It's on your My Invites page: from the menu: Communities/My Invites, or direct url: http://www.livejournal.com/manage/invites.bml.

Also, we have some unaccepted/outstanding invites, so please be sure to head on over to your My Invites page and accept the invitation to smallfandomcafe. It’s important that you make sure you are watching both communities so that you get all announcements on your f-list.

ETA: Apparently invites expire after 30 days, so if you signed up early on and hadn't accepted your invite, it's gone now. Let me know so I can send you another one. Thanks.

I have not received an invite? I'm pretty sure I signed up as an artist, but I just filled out the form again just in case.

Thank you for responding. It's entirely possible that I forgot to sign up in the first place. Which is OK, I'm thinking... I have a teeny-tiny fandom anyway, and probably wouldn't have found an artist, and so on. Again, thank you so much for following up on this scatterbrain. best, Sarah

That's no problem, I just didn't want your request to fall through the cracks.

Please don't let your concerns about having a fandom too small to generate interest in an artist stop you from signing up if you really want to. We encourage artists to create for fandoms with which they're unfamiliar (with help from the author, of course) and last round we had some artists who went above and beyond to make sure all authors had artwork of some kind, taking on upwards of 6 fic, so chances are pretty good that you'd find an artist willing to take on your story.

I got your artist sign up. Above you said you'd signed-up as an author, so I didn't check the artist sign-ups. You did previously sign up as an artist under kelpyfinners. I'll delete that sign-up from the spreadsheet and send you another invitation for kwritten.

I checked my sent e-mails and you were sent a confirmation e-mail on 9/4. Invitations expire after 30 days, so that's why it's no longer there if you didn't already accept it back when it was issued. (I won't be sending another e-mail, so this will serve as confirmation.)
