Reminder: Sign-Ups & First Author Check-In

Author Sign-Ups close on October 31 (technically, when I get up the next morning and close them). If you or a friend have been on the fence about signing up as an Author, you have about a week and a half to do so!

Coming up on November 1, Artist Sign-Ups will open and we’ll have our first Author Check-In so make sure to mark your calendar for those. (Remember, check-ins are mandatory, so if you won't be available the week of a check-in, e-mail me ahead of time to let me know that you're still planning to participate.)

Quick question - how much time do you get on a check-in post before being deemed not to have checked in?

Is it a week (as seems to be implied above)? I'm away and without internet for the weekend of the 1st/2nd Nov, but ought to be back online by Monday 3rd.

It appears that I never updated the FAQ when we made check-ins a one-week period so authors and artists didn't have to rush to check in within a 24 hour period, but yes, the check-in period runs for one week and I happily accept e-mailed check-ins beforehand if an author or artist isn't available for that particular week.
