SFBB04: Rough Draft Submission Closed!

The time to submit your rough draft is now over.

I have cleaned out my in-box (and checked my spam folder) and replied to everyone whose rough draft submission (or request to Opt Out Of Art) I received. If you submitted a rough draft (or request to Opt Out Of Art) and have not heard from me, please let me know (after checking your spam folder to make sure my reply wasn’t sent there by mistake).

Additional Notes:

1. The Sneak Peak post for artists will be posted at least 24 (and hopefully 48) hours prior to claiming opening up.

2. The Artist Claiming post will go up at approximately 7am EST on Saturday, February 7.

3. Artist sign-ups will remain open until all fic have been claimed. If you know of someone who’d like to sign-up as an artist, please direct them to the Artist Sign-Up Post.

4. If you have not joined the community, please do so now, as both the Sneak Peak and Artist Claiming posts will be locked to the comm.

Not to say it's wrong or anything, but why is the claiming post going up so early on a Saturday morning? :)

That time is actually held over from last round when claiming opened on a Friday, but the reasoning still holds, I think. *g* I know that not all of our participants reside in the US, and while I can't find a time that's fair for everyone, I'm trying to make sure that people in other time zones have a somewhat equal chance to claim the stories.

Also, for me, getting the post up early means I don't have to sit around and wait for the time, and then get caught up doing something else and miss it myself.

So basically, to make it easier on myself (and everyone else that the post actually goes up when I say it will) and an attempt at fairness.

What are the Authors/Artists numbers right now? With rough drafts due, the option to opt out of art and the push to attract more artists, I'm wondering where we stand?

34 rough drafts were turned in and with an additional sign-up today we now have 28 artists, so the numbers are looking pretty good.
