Hello, everyone! I can't believe that we're nearing September 1st already (just under two weeks!) and that we'll be starting our sixth round of Small Fandoms Bang! I wanted to let everyone know for sure that we're a go this year, and reiterate the most important dates for the next couple of months:

Sept 1: Author Sign-Ups Open
Nov 1: Artist Sign-Ups Open

(Also on Nov 1 will be the first Author Check-In.)

Debating whether to join this year (RL seems to think I should have other things to do as well). "Call the Midwife" isn't on the list of qualifying fandoms, but I think it would qualify. Do I ask here, or wait until sign-ups open?

Oh yay I want to sign up again this year! I think I want to go with The Other Life this time which is, well its a short film that Shooter Jennings did, but he also had a 11 page comic version of it made and I want to do the fic based on the comic, it explains more things to me in a clearer way then the film did lol even though the same kinda events happen but more expanded in the comic. Pretty sure this isn't on the list of qualifying fandoms lol but it qualifies cause I'm pretty sure it doesn't have any fics based on it.

Also kinda debating whether to make it a crossover with the Aztec West stories by TL Morganfield, actually probably will lol.

I couldn't find any fic for the short film or the comic, so both would definitely qualify.
