smallfandombangIt's been brought to my attention that, with Hurricane Sandy making her way up the east coast, there might be some power outages still in effect on Nov 1 when the first check-in post goes up.
While the check-in post will remain open for several days (and I'll take power outages into account for late check-ins within reason), I wanted to remind everyone that, if you're concerned you might be in a power outage area, you can check-in early merely by sending an e-mail to the mod account as sfbbmod @ gmail.com. At this point we're really only interested in the fact that you're still planning to participate in the challenge; no specific word count is necessary.
The check-in will not be waived, so please contact us ahead of time if you think you'll need to. If you miss a check-in we will presume that you have withdrawn from the challenge.
