Posting begins in just a couple of days, on Monday, April 5! Yes, it’s finally here! I’m so excited about this, and I hope that you all are, too. I can’t wait to read the fic and enjoy the art!
Now, for the instructions which I’m posting early for those of you who want to get your announcement all prettied up ahead of time:
1. On your posting day, Authors and Artists should post your fanfic/fanart at the journal/archive where you usually post your fanfic/fanart and make an announcement at the Small Fandom Bang community using the header template below that links to either a Master Post in your journal or the fic at an archive such as AO3.
(Yes, we’re doing this a little bit differently than most other big bangs – we want both Authors and Artists to be able to receive the accolades they’re due for their hard work, so both Authors and Artists are encouraged to post an announcement here in the community. We stole this idea from

1a. Authors and Artists may coordinate their posting times, but it is not required. You may post your announcement any time that is most convenient for you; you do not have to wait to post until you have received the link from your partner, though you will need to edit your announcement post once the link is available to include it.
2. Your fanfic/fanart posts should not be locked. (While we don’t require you to post it here in the community, we would like the fic/art you created for this challenge to be available for everyone to enjoy.) [It should go without saying, but I’ll say it anyway, the announcement post here should not be locked, either.]
3. If you need to break your story up into parts, please make sure each part links to the next to make it easier for your readers to follow.
4. Please only use a thumbnail or resized image of no larger than 350 pixel width in your announcement post so we don’t screw up everyone’s f-list.
5. If you post your fic at AO3 please feel free to add it to the
Small Fandoms Bang Round Ten collection. (There’s also a tag you can use:
Community: smallfandombang.)
6. If you miss your posting date for any reason please contact me. DO NOT merely post on whatever day you remember or become available as that steals the thunder from the Authors and Artists who have signed up for that day. You may post on any day that has a free spot or during our Amnesty Posting Week, but you MUST contact me first so I know what’s going on.

7. When posting your announcement at the Small Fandom Bang community, please use the header template below:
Fanfic Announcement:Subject line: Fic: Fandom (Author)
Header template:
Fanart Announcement:Subject line: Art: Fandom (Artist)
Header template:
You may add information to the header (author notes, beta credit, acknowledgments, disclaimer, etc) but please
don't remove any of the items listed or otherwise change the order of the requested information.
8. You may tag your own posts, but no worries if you don’t because I will double check that each post has all the necessary tags and create new tags as needed.
9. Please remember to use the required warnings in the header of your announcement to this comm (major character death, non-con/rape and extreme violence). While you must use warnings in your header at the community, you are free to include or exclude any information where you post your story.
