Anything Else: Oh boy. This year has had very little solid downtime, and there's definitely some burnout due to ongoing family circumstances. (Nothing personally bad, just people staying over and medical emergencies that affect everyone's routines.) So getting things done has been more difficult than I'd like, but I'm moving in a good direction (I think/hope.)

What's Working Well: I've written some pivotal scenes and I'm happy with how they've turned out. I've also decided to try and flesh out a canon character that never really got much development. I'll be incorporating those as flashback sequences.
What's Not Working: As much progress as I've made word count wise, I feel like a lot of my main ship interaction is nice and sweet but somewhat bland. They really come to life when the conflict comes into play. I plan on revisiting it once I've had some distance from it to allow a fresh perspective.
Anything Else: I've been working on other stories when I want a little break from this story.
