Posting beings tomorrow, April 5. Yes, it’s finally here! I’m so excited about this, and I hope that you all are, too. I can’t wait to read the fic and enjoy the art!
Now, for the instructions:
1. On your posting day, Authors and Artists should post your fanfic/fanart at your own journal/archive and make an announcement here at
smallfandombang (using the header template below) that links to either a Master Post in your journal or the fic at an archive such as AO3.
(Yes, we’re doing this a little bit differently than most other big bangs – we want both Authors and Artists to be able to receive the accolades they’re due for their hard work, so both Authors and Artists should post an announcement here in the community. We stole this idea from
kink_bigbang.)
2. Your fic/art posts should not be locked. (While we don’t require you to post it here in the community, we would like the fic/art you created for this challenge to be available for everyone to enjoy.)
3. If you need to break your fic up into parts, please make sure each part links to the next to make it easier for your readers.
4. Please only use a thumbnail or resized image of no larger than 300pixel width in your announcement post so we don’t screw up everyone’s f-list.
5. If you post your fic at AO3 please feel free to add it to the Small Fandoms Bang Round Two collection.
6. If you miss your posting date for any reason please contact me. DO NOT merely post on whatever day you remember or become available as that steals the thunder from the Authors and Artists who have signed up for that day.
7. When posting your announcement here at
smallfandombang, please follow the format below:
Fanfic Announcement:
Subject line: Fic: Fandom (Author)
Header template:
Fanart Announcement:
Subject line: Art: Fandom (Artist)
Header template:
You may add information to the header (author notes, beta credit, acknowledgments, disclaimer, etc) but please don't remove any of the items listed or otherwise change the order of the requested information. Thank you!
Last reminder: if you haven’t already joined this community, do so now! You must be a member of this community to post.
Also, I'm still waiting to hear from a handful of Authors to claim a posting date, and to receive final drafts from a few artists. Please take care of that asap! Thank you.
If you have any questions that aren’t answered in the FAQ you may ask them here (comments will be screened) or e-mail me at sfbbmod @ gmail.com.

Date: 4/4/13 10:14 pm (UTC)You did what you could, so just go ahead and choose a date that's good for you and let her know what it is.
Let me know if you still don't hear from her when you contact her with the date -- we have some artists that have offered to pinch hit if you need one.
